Adam Penning Adam is a Campus Director here at UW. He is passionate about helping men know and grow in Jesus Christ and mobilizing this generation to take the Gospel to the corners of the planet. Adam has Been on staff since 2001, spending his first year in Brazil with Campus Crusade and then in 2003 began working at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Adam is a 2001 graduate of Iowa State University. He is married to Alicia Penning. They had thier first child in October of 2008, Marguerite Elise Penning. Adam loves being married and loves being a dad.
Alicia Penning I graduated from the University of Iowa where I studied English and Business. During my years in college, God captured my heart for the students of the world. I'm wholeheartedly convinced that if we reach the students of the world for Christ today, we'll reach the world tomorrow. Plus, I just love college students. I love their passion and idealism. And I love that God uses me to influence their lives.
Some other things about me...I'm crazy about my husband, Adam; everything's more fun when Adam is there. We share some minor obsessions including Harry Potter, Heroes, and Chinese food. I also have some of my own obsessions, which include (but are not limited to) Seinfeld, anything Tolkien ever published about Middle Earth, and coffee. I love hiking and camping. Adam says one of the coolest things about me is that I can go from hiking boots to pearls in 5 minutes - I'm pretty proud of that. :)
